Tank Calibration

In a world where transportation of commercial liquefied product such as petroleum, LNG, chemicals, spirits is ever-increasing, accurate tank calibration is imperative. Calibration aids to determine the exact true volume of a containment system which not only helps to maintain a high standard of your products but also less trouble with your customers, in terms of internal stock taking and accountability.

Calibration process will be based on real-time measurements according to approved and certified procedures, thus any deformations and deviations from the construction drawings will be detected and processed in the volume calculations.

TankTech is an accredited inspection body based on ISO 17020/17025 type A and has proven to act without any conflict of interests. As an independent institution, certificates prepared by TankTech are a public trust in international trade. For the tanks on inland and seagoing coastal vessels Tanktech is recognized by the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs (Ref no. NL2571).

CALIBRATION CERTIFICATE:

The certificate complies with the requirements as per OIML R 95 and includes:

- General information regarding the objects
- List & locations of measurement devices
- Main capacity tables
- Correction tables for thermal expansion / contraction
- Correction tables for list and trim
- Sample calculations
- Schematic drawings of pipelines
